You do not need to apply for the Warm Home Discount. You’ll be paid automatically by your energy supplier.

The Warm Home Discount is not available in Northern Ireland. Find out about the Affordable Warmth scheme instead.

If you live in a park home, you’ll need to apply for the Park Homes Warm Home Discount Scheme.

Before you start

You’ll need:

  • the name of your electricity supplier

  • details of any benefits you receive

You’ll also need to know the size and age of your property and what type of property it is.

If your property has an energy performance certificate (EPC), you can enter your postcode to fill in these details. 

If your property does not have an EPC, you can find these details on property documents, like your tenancy agreement or insurance paperwork.
